CUSTOMER INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & ORDERING SYSTEM
  

ATS is proud of its CIMOS (Customer Inventory Management & Ordering System), which permits customers to connect to the ATS computer system and perform a number of functions including:

  1. Browse ATS's entire inventory to search for items needed and to retrieve pricing information and on-hand/on-order status for any item desired. This browse system is convenient to use, offering an index to various product groupings to quickly and easily find items in our large inventory.

  2. Place orders electronically directly to the ATS system, using either ATS item numbers, the customer's toolcard numbers (if assigned), or non-stock descriptions. A header screen enables input of the purchase order number and ship-to instructions. Any quantities of an item already on order by the customer will be displayed, as well as standard order or package quantities, and a confirmation of order placement is provided at the conclusion of an entry. Thorough password protection is provided.

  3. The system offers the capability for the customer to track the quantities of all tools on-hand in its toolcrib through the remote terminal. The system creates a transaction record for all items tracked, showing usages by department, machine, or other customer- defined parameters. ATS can supply, on a monthly or other basis, detailed reports showing current inventory levels for each item at the toolcrib, and usage reports showing the quantities and dollar values of tools disbursed to the shop floor. Each item maintained can also have its safety-stock level and standard order quantity changed by the customer. The system offers the ability to automatically re-order items whose on-hand quantity descends below established safety stock levels, and will display an item transaction register for any item so desired.

  4. The system will allow the customer to display current backorders with ATS, showing the item description, the customer toolcard number (if established), the date ordered, the unit price, the quantities ordered, shipped, and on backorder, and the current, up-to-the minute expected receipt date.

  5. Inter-office e-mail enables users to communicate instantly with anyone at ATS.

ATS has the capability to print special reports for its customers on an as-needed basis, such as total quantities or costs purchased for individual items or in the aggregate for any period of time. Also, we offer a single, once-per-month summary invoice billing reflecting all items purchased for the previous month, which can be processed and paid as a single invoice.
